Gameplay
In Consume, you move around the board by clicking on adjacent tiles with your mouse. If you enter a tile occupied by an enemy, you will need to trade your own life force to absorb their blood soul. Souls are used as currency to be exchanged for permanent upgrades from the shopkeeper, he is found when you meet your inevitable demise. Spell scrolls can also be found scattered throughout the dungeon floors (spells do not consume life force to cast). Other items that can be found inside the dungeon are health potions and multiplier wands (this item multiplies number values of both health potions and enemies in adjacent tiles, so use wisely). Consume also uses a combo system, absorb multiple enemies in a row to reduce the amount of life force used and recieve additional blood souls to exchange for permanent upgrades.
